Shell Pipeline Company LP will build, own and operate the Falcon Ethane Pipeline System, a 97-mile common carrier ethane pipeline which will be located in Southwestern Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Eastern Ohio.

The Falcon Pipeline System will connect three major ethane source points –? Houston, Pa., Scio, Ohio, and Cadiz, Ohio, in the rich gas portions of the Marcellus and Utica shale reservoirs.

Final right-of-way purchase efforts have been completed, permits have been submitted to state and federal agencies, and mainline construction is scheduled for 2019.
