Overview of the Gulf of Mexico
We currently operate 5 major deep water and ultra deep water production hubs, 3 fixed platforms, numerous subsea production systems, and one of the largest contracted drilling rig fleets in the Gulf of Mexico.?We are also part owner of 2 producing projects in the Gulf of Mexico operated by other oil and gas companies.
The core of our daily work in deep water Gulf of Mexico consists of producing oil and gas using our existing production facilities, as well as drilling wells to grow production from our existing fields and to find and develop newly-discovered fields. Our focus is on safety, excellence in asset performance, and respect for people and the environment using a mindset of “never complacent, always improving.”
