Celtic Coaching Evaluation

As we attempt to enhance coaching within our Soccer association it is paramount that we set core competencies around coaching. Core competencies are the foundation for coaching and the measuring stick that will allow assessment and development of our coaches. The feedback is to be used to help the coach improve his or her style and to ultimately improve as they continue to coach.

Athlete development is dependent on effective coaching. Effective coaching is critical to the success of program development.

This form is to be used for 360° feedback for the technical committee and ultimately will be shared in a summary with the coaches to improve the performance. The evaluation is anonymous and the administering of the evaluation is controlled by the team manager.

Celtic Coach Appointment

All Celtic coaches have been appointed for one year. This appointment was made in the indoor season and will be carried forward to the outdoor season. There will be two exceptions to this rule. If there are written concerns that are deemed valid in relation to a coaches performance from the indoor season these will be review and a change may be made, also if a coach fulfilling the position chooses to resign for other reasons a replacement will be sought. This replacement would be handled through an application process.


Coaches and Managers ID cards

All Celtic Coaches and Managers should have an ID card created.
