The Saskatchewan Soccer Association is pleased to announce that they have partnered
with World of Soccer and former men's Canadian World Cup and Olympic coach,
Tony Waiters, in the establishment of an Internet-Deliverable coaching
curriculum (Practice/Lesson Plans).
All
coaches, teams, clubs and districts throughout our province
and at all levels of play - recreation to competitive
- are encouraged to access the BSC program.
BSC is designed to assist coaches with sample practice plans,
drills and skill development for player ages 4 and up. This
truly is a grassroots to high performance initiative.
Byte Size Coaching is the culmination
of extensive research and field-testing over the last fifteen
years. The
Saskatchewan Byte Size Coaching program has been approved and endorsed
by the SSA's Technical Staff as well as the CSA and other national
soccer governing organizations.
Byte Size Soccer is a complete
age-and developmentally-appropriate, balanced curriculum (Practice & Lesson
Plans) aimed specifically at the coaches of our younger players. The primary aim is to make the playing and coaching
of soccer a fun, rewarding experience for both the players and the coach.
